Project
The digital transformation of healthcare requires the nursing role to evolve into an integrated model that leads technological integration while preserving the essence of human care. This project explores digital competence as a cross-cutting skill that combines technical knowledge, attitude, and leadership to optimise clinical management. The ultimate goal is to ensure that technology acts as a catalyst for humanisation by reducing bureaucratic burdens and empowering both professionals and attendees.
Objetivo general del proyecto
Evaluate digital health literacy among nurses through the validation and application of the Staff-eHealth Literacy Questionnaire (Staff-eHLQ) to identify strengths and areas for improvement, co-design specific interventions, and enhance the use of digital health services in their professional practice.
Project Phases
- Translation, adaptation and validation of the Staff-eHLQ questionnaire in the Spanish context.
- Assessment of digital health literacy among nursing professionals.
- Co-design and evaluation of interventions to improve digital health literacy in two hospital units: Home hospitalisation unit of the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital (Badalona, Barcelona) and the Nephrology clinical management unit of the Punta Europa University Hospital (Algeciras, Cádiz).
